Heukuppe: E, Karlgraben
Ascent:
From Prein, head up the forest roard to the Waxriegelhaus (1361m). Reach the large and obvious bowl (Siebenbrunnkessel) that gets steeper as you go up. Head to the left (SE) at the top of the gullies ( ~1650m), where there are some chains. Follow those chains to the Karl-Ludwig Haus on top of the cliff (1804m).
From there, follow the gentle slopes to reach the ridge and follow it to the summit. (often without snow because of the wind)
Descent:
Either same way, or to avoid the area under the Karl-Ludwid Haus which might not have good snow, go the the pass 100m North of Karl-Ludwig Haus, (~1750m) before Predigtstuhl. Head down the Karlgraben from there (> 35° at the start).
