Piz Glüschaint: de la Cabane Chamanna Coaz

Ascent

From the Coaz hut contour around the small hill on the left side just outside of the hut. Then proceed up the glacier staying on its right side, close to or under the rocky outcrop at 3000m. At around 3350m there is a large crevasse covering the way, it can be climbed traversing right. Ice screws and possibly a second tool is useful! Needs to be rapelled during the descent so bing gear to build an abalakov or snow anchor. (It might be possible to pass the crevasse on the right side on the rocks depending on the amount of snow)

After passing the crevasse continue up to the plateau at 3500m. Leaving the skis and gaining the summit by easy mixed climbing (PD/II)

Descent
By the same way as the ascent. Rapelling down past the crevasse. After passing the hut traverse high on the left side of Val Roseg. By the end of Lej da Vadret keep on the left side descending above the creek. Finally gain the cross country track and descent to Pontresina. In good conditions you will be able to glide the whole with minimum effort.
