Rives de la Mer de Glace - Rocher des Mottets: From Chamonix - end of Vallée Blanche
From the Montenvers Car Park, go on the NE, pass the Luge d’été, pass the Lift, continue straight and pass the Montenvers train. Follow the track to go slightly up to the Cabane des Rochers des Mottets (1638m).
It is not the best for ski-mountaineering but it could be an interesting route for snow shoes. At the end, you have a view the Mer de Glace
It is the end of the famous Vallée Blanche in Chamonix.
