Schneeberg: Kaiserstein- Breite Reis

Ascent

Fastest, skis must be carried in the steep/rocky part, can be icy (bring Crampons) Fadenweg and Wurzengraben See description
No need to take the skis off, never very steep, but longer. Up through the Breite Reis

Descent

From Kaiserstein, head N on the plateau, the first couloir straight to the right (E) is the Privatries (up to 45°), the start of Breite Reis is about 150m further on the plateau (Wooden poles indicate it).
The start is heading SE at around 36°, then it gets wider, turns E and less steep at around 33° for about 400m.

Around 1300m, head to the left side (N) at the start of the woods, where there is a signpost. Head down E following the summer path for about 200m, and join the forest road going N to Losenheim, just above the start of the chairlift
