Tête des Rachas: North face of Rachas and Déversoir du Lac du Plan

Tête des Rachas, western and northern faces. From the summit of the Super Diable chair lift (2814m), to descend  towards the north on Col d'Entre les Têtes (2696m). Traverse the south face of Tête des Rachas then to go up a few meters to take foot on the summit slope (cornice). The western ridge gives a beautiful unrelenting and obvious descent for 300m until the connection piste which traverses to the foot of the north face of Rachas (2400m). To take it, cross the wind racks and remain primarily to the right of the crest. To reach the more technical route of the north face, turn on the right (northeast) before the wind racks (2670m) and pass under the Catex cable. On the left you leave (between 2500 and 2600m) a rock band crossed by narrow and steep sometimes skiable corridors (you must check them first, steep skiing). You return to the connection piste leaving a new rock band on the right.

Deversoir du lac du Plan. Take the connection piste to reach the bottom of the Bellecombes chair lift then that of Grand Nord and leave completely north to reach the flat area at spot elevation 2319. A gentle scoop towards the northwest leads to the entry of the corridor (2250m). 300m long, the corridor is steep (40° approximately) and very narrow at the beginning. It goes to the Thuit piste which leads north to the chair lift of the same name.
